A champion has been named!!!

After weeks of March Hunkness competition, we finally have a winner. In round one, he beat out Hunger Games hottie Gale Hawthorne. In round two, he held strong against Victoria’s very sexy Lord M. Round three had him defeating Gone with the Wind icon Rhett Butler (sometimes it helps to give a damn), and in round four he surpassed comeback kid Captain Wentworth from Persuasion. In the end, the head-to-head matchup of the King of Snobs vs. the King of Stubborn was close. Right up until the final minutes of the contest, the Englishman and the Scot battled hard and it truly was anyone’s game. In the end, only one man could take it, and with all due respect and love to Pride and Prejudice’s Mr. Darcy, it does seem quite fitting that on Tartan Day of all days, Outlander’s Jamie Fraser has been crowned our very first Book Perfume Champion of Hunks.

As Champion of Hunks, James Alexander Malcom Mackenzie Fraser will have bragging rights over all other Romeos of the page (but he wouldna do that, because it’s not his style) , and will stand head and shoulders above his competitors while he carries this title (which he already does because he’s super tall!).  He will continue to be the ginger-haired king of men who can seriously do anything. Except sing. And wink. And travel by boat without getting seasick. Kudos, JAMMF. Your face is our heart, and that Claire is one lucky Sassenach.

And let’s not forget to give a huge shout out to Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy, the hero we have compared all heroes to for the past 200 years. You fought hard, Fitzy D, but I have a feeling you’ll be just fine living large in Pemberley with that awesome wife of yours. Thanks for being a good sport.
